Under the terms of the agreement, Array Software will become a value-added reseller of Boston WorkStation, providing the product to existing customers who will use it to interface with their MEDITECH hospital information systems. In addition, Array intends to embed Boston WorkStation in its new WebTask product which will extend its popular and successful Task+ ™ product capabilities to the Internet, allowing Array to expand its marketing effort to both MEDITECH and non-MEDITECH hospitals.

The Boston WorkStation technology will allow existing Array customers to more easily deal with recent changes in their MEDITECH systems. Array’s long term product development strategy will include Boston WorkStation as a key component in porting their task management tool to the Internet, allowing customers to reach outside the MEDITECH environment and execute web-based processes. A number of Array hospital customers have already indicated their interest in beta-testing this new tool.
