Boston Software Systems, the leader in workflow automation technology to the healthcare market, today named April Gianoli vice president, technical services. Gianoli, a 25-year veteran of the information technology industry, will be responsible for managing and developing the Company's support and training departments.

Prior to joining Boston Software Systems, Ms. Gianoli spent more than 10 years at McKesson Corporation, where she served in a variety of technical support, service and development positions. A major focus area in each engagement was her ability to create strategic best practices for the corporation across the board. Most recently as director of installation services, her responsibilities included managing a team of 15-20 professionals to oversee installation of EIG document imaging products and developing key procedures and processes to ensure successful implementations. Ms. Gianoli also served as a programmer analyst and system support analyst at Bay Medical Center in Bay City, Mich. and St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, Mich. respectively.
